Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Risk, this role sits within the Line 2 function and partners closely with the Investments team, providing independent oversight and challenge across a multi-asset portfolio. You will work with senior stakeholders to influence portfolio decisions and ensure risk frameworks are robust in a regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Line 2 risk oversight and independent challenge across broad Investments portfolio
Build and maintain portfolio risk analytics using BlackRock Aladdin
Challenge portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk models
Monitor exposures and identify emerging or unintended risk positions
Lead controls testing, model validation and assurance activities
Support incident, breach and regulatory reporting processes
Partner with Investments, Risk and Audit stakeholders
Drive ongoing improvements across risk frameworks and processes

Skills & Experience




Background in Investment risk, Investment Operations or Actuarial
Technically fluent across various coding languages
Solid understanding of multi-asset portfolios and risk modelling
Experience applying quantitative analysis to investment decisions
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
CFA, FRM or similar qualifications highly regarded
