We are seeking a suitably qualified communications technician to complement our team within the Engineering Services division at our Berrimah office. This role will see personnel carrying out structured cabling installation and testing for a high-profile Defence project.
Key responsibilities
Complete requisite safety documentation prior to task commencement, such as Take‑5s and SWMS.
Construction of communications racks, and installation of cable tray/basket.
Install, terminate and test structured cabling.
About you
Construction industry white card.
Open cabling registration with structured endorsement (fibre endorsement desirable).
Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
Current valid manual driver’s license.
Local to the greater Darwin region – this is not a FIFO position.
Working knowledge of relevant standards and technical advice.
Ability to travel to and from Katherine (accommodation, meals and LAHA provided).
Working at heights and High Risk Work License (WP) (desirable).
