About the job General Practitioner: MMM2 and DPA GP2Oz Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join a collegial primary healthcare team in Townsville, QLD. This is a full‑time position with a competitive remuneration offering:

As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

Conducting consultations with patients to assess their medical conditions and provide appropriate treatment

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as needed

Providing preventative care and health education to patients

Managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists as required

Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date medical records

Participating in clinical meetings and career development activities

Adhering to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Requirements





Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care

Availability to work full‑time, including some evenings and weekends
