This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role where you will lead transactions end-to-end, work directly with high-profile clients, and play a key role in shaping outcomes on market-leading deals.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Transactions lawyer to join our growing M&A; team. You’ll operate as both a trusted adviser and deal leader, taking ownership of transactions from inception through to completion while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
What you’ll do
Lead public and private M&A; transactions from start to finish
Draft and negotiate key transaction documents (SPA’s, shareholder and subscription agreements)
Manage due diligence processes and coordinate deal teams
Provide transparent,
commercial advice on complex legal and strategic issues
Build and maintain strong client and adviser relationships
Support and develop junior lawyers within the team
Contribute to business development and profile growth of the practice
What we’re looking for
Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate/M&A;
Solid technical knowledge of Australian corporate law and transaction structures
Proven experience running deals independently and managing competing priorities
Excellent drafting skills with a commercial, client-focused approach
Confident communicator who can simplify complex issues
Strong project management and leadership capability
