Casual Agitator Driver / Relief Batcher Wanted! Join us as a casual Agitator Driver/Relief Batcher and enjoy competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team culture. You’ll operate modern, well‑maintained agitator trucks while also providing relief batching support when required.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $40.77 (inclusive of 25% casual loading). Overtime: time and a half after 7.6 hours, double time after 10 hours.
Job location: Gladstone Concrete Plant.
10‑day comprehensive training program for all recent starters.
Position Duties
Loading and delivering concrete as an agitator driver.
Performing pre‑start checks.
Yard duties including cleaning of trucks and general site maintenance.
Batching of pre‑mixed concrete and allocating customer jobs.
Operating the front‑end loader (for those with ticket or experience).
Completing stock takes.
Supporting purchasing activities.
Ensuring safety and quality procedures are always followed.
About You
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
Current White Card or willingness to obtain it.
Experience with SAP and Command batching system, or willingness to learn.
Experience ordering materials and maintaining adequate stock levels.
Ability to assist in plant maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
Robust customer communication skills, able to represent the business professionally on‑site.
Positive computer literacy and ability to follow processes.
Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
A safety‑first attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, presentable truck.
