Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the Burribi Centre clean, safe and well maintained. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting and general cleaning of public areas, enclosures and facilities.

Groundskeeping:
Assist in maintaining the grounds surrounding the Burribi Centre including gardening, landscaping, and ensuring the outdoor areas are presentable and safe for volunteers and visitors.

Repairs
Help identify and report any needed repairs or maintenance issues, such as plumbing, electrical or structural concerns to the Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Safety
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a protected environment for visitors, volunteers and koalas.

Inventory Management
Assist in managing supplies and equipment used for maintenance tasks.

Collaboration
Collaborate with other volunteers and Volunteer Co-ordinators to ensure a clean and welcoming workplace.

Qualifications
Physical fitness and the ability to perform maintenance and cleaning tasks.




Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Availability to commit to the specified hours or days.
Willingness to follow safety protocols and work in a controlled setting.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Passion for koala conservation and the desire to contribute to the well being of koalas.

Training:
Training will be provided to familiarise you with the Friends of the Koala maintenance protocols, safety procedures and equipment usage.
