Aircraft Maintenance (AM) Trimmer

Qantas Engineering is looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Trimmer to manufacture and repair aircraft and component trimming and furnishings, including aircraft interior furnishings and ULD straps and curtains. The successful candidate will work with specialist teams to uphold our high safety, quality, reliability and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and deliver high‑quality products for aircraft.
Work in a supportive, team‑spirit environment to achieve common goals.
Operate on a full‑time, permanent day shift schedule of 7:00–15:00 in Melbourne.

Key Qualifications
Completed Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (AQF AUR32320) or equivalent.
Relevant Aircraft Maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience with interior trimming.
Ability to work within tight tolerances requiring high precision and accuracy.
Knowledge of documentation and reporting requirements and ability to complete them to a high standard.
Ownership of tasks and drive outcomes that meet business requirements.
Compliance and safety focus,



adhering to all secure working practices and service standards.
Thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures.
Team‑player with robust communication skills.
Customer‑focused mindset with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties.
Working knowledge of computers and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Highly developed attention to detail.
Strong ethical behaviour and self‑discipline.
