At UGL, our Utilities business leads Australia’s energy transition, providing end‑to‑end design and construction services for critical infrastructure across the power sector, including transmission lines, switchyards, substations and electrical distribution networks. We support projects from design through to maintenance, delivering work safely and effectively across Australia.

Responsibilities
Oversee the project team to ensure client objectives are met with the highest industry standards.
Manage planning, execution and finalisation of projects under minimal guidance from the GM Utilities and Transmission.
Lead project teams to deliver on schedule, budget and scope while ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle.
Coordinate resources, promote safety, quality assurance and effective communication with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders across UGL business units and external providers.
Based in Southbank with frequent site visits.

Qualifications
Formal project management accreditation equivalent to AIPM, PMBOK, Diploma, PMP or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of senior project management experience in the power,



industrial or infrastructure sectors (high‑voltage substation and transmission line experience preferred).
Experience in estimating project costs and managing budgets.
Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to create, read and interpret budgets, financial statements and variance reports.
