Our client is a well-established organisation with funds under management across multiple debt and real estate investment strategies. The business has built a strong reputation in the Australian private credit market and is continuing to grow its lending platform.
As a result of continued deal flow and internal promotion, they are seeking a commercially minded Analyst to join their Funds Management team.
About the Role
Part of the Funds Management team, this role will support the management of a large and active private credit portfolio. This is a highly visible role where you will partner with Funds Management, Deal Origination, Asset Management, Capital Management and Investor Relations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain and enhance complex financial models across loan and fund portfolios.
Analyse loan performance, cashflows, investor returns and portfolio sensitivities.
Support portfolio monitoring and active asset management activities.
Assist with portfolio forecasting, treasury management and capital planning activities.
Prepare board, investment committee and investor reporting packs.
Support fund structuring initiatives, transactions and portfolio optimisation exercises.
Maintain investment and divestment registers and other key fund data.
Conduct market, industry and competitor research.
Assist with the preparation of aggregated portfolio forecasts and business performance reporting.
Skills & Experience Required
3‑5 years’ experience in Funds Management, Private Credit, Banking, or Real Estate Finance.
Alternatively, candidates from Big 4 Modelling, Infrastructure Advisory, or Valuations type teams will be considered.
Advanced financial modelling skills with experience managing complex and highly detailed models.
Robust analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.
