About the Role
MSS Security is seeking a casual Security Officer to join our Launceston team and service our high‑profile government clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a qualified, courteous and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions.
Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high security standards and resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements
Full Australian working rights.
Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
Working With Vulnerable People check (or willing to obtain).
Willing to undergo and pass a National Police Check.
