Develop, implement and continuously improve the management systems that underpin the mine's environmental and community performance
Provide advice and support to line managers, staff, employees, and contractors
Maintain compliance with regulatory environmental requirements, Glencore Standards and site-based management systems
Identify and manage community and stakeholder expectations
Deliver a comprehensive and highly involved Cultural Heritage program
Manage onsite biodiversity offset areas and associated monitoring obligations
Administer community funding and grant programs
Maintain environmental monitoring, reporting and compliance systems
Support GIS mapping, spatial data management and environmental planning
Coordinate pest and weed management activities
Manage community and stakeholder engagement
Oversee ground disturbance activities across both operations and exploration
Supervise and manage specialist contractors.

Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proven experience in environmental management
Solid understanding of Environmental legislation and community liaison




Visible leadership skills
Solid influential communication skills
Mining industry experience is highly desirable but not essential.
