Are you looking to get involved by volunteering with a local community focused not-for-profit? Join a friendly and welcoming team made of volunteers and staff at Smile-A-Mile Toy Library. We are a registered charity committed to supporting childrens' development through play located in Coolalinga.

The particular focus of this role will involve checking toys that have been returned or as part of a stocktake, printing toy labels, taking photos of toys and updating the toy catalogue. If you enjoy organising and administration tasks this volunteer position might suit you.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Working with staff to check the condition of toys and suitability for borrowing
Cleaning toys
Re-shelving or organising the toy shelves
Helping with other tasks as needed

Type Of Work: Administration & Office Management, Library Services

Time Required: The hours of this role are adaptable, we ask that you volunteer for a minimum of 1.5 hours either weekly or fortnightly during our opening hours.

Our opening hours are:
Wednesday: 12.00pm - 5.00pm
Thursday: 9.00am - 1.00pm
Friday: 9.00am - 4.00pm
First Saturday of the month: 9.00am - 12.00pm

Training

You will be provided with a short, informal induction session and tour of the toy library and guidance on our repair policies.
