About the Role

As a cold store forklift operator at Melbourne Airport, you’ll be an essential part of the team responsible for handling international cargo and keeping operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
Operating a forklift to unload aircraft units
Manual handling
Removing cargo nets and shrink-wrap from pallets
Loading airfreight onto trucks
Operating hoists to safely manoeuvre aircraft units
Working in a cold store
Working with perishables & carcus's

Rosters & Pay
Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
Weekday rates:



$33per hour, with applicable shift penalties

What We’re Looking For
Forklift competency and experience in freight handling
A strong desire to grow and learn in the airfreight industry
Clean criminal record
Ability to pass ongoing drug & alcohol testing
Previous cold store experience
Ability to work with perishables & carcus's
Reliable, team-focused attitude
