Cape Lambert | Day Crew | Residential Chance

We are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators (Civil) with proven Grader and Loader experience to join the Rio Tinto Team on Day Crew at Cape Lambert .

This is an excellent opportunity for local residents to secure a long-term role working across Cape Lambert Operations, completing road maintenance activities and supporting a range of ad hoc civil works and small projects.

What's on Offer?
$53.00 - $63.00 per hour flat rate + superannuation
Day shift only roster (5:5:4)
12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm)
Immediate start available
Opportunity to work within Rio Tinto operations
Potential pathway to a permanent Rio Tinto role after 12 months for high-performing employees

Key Responsibilities
Operating graders and loaders safely and efficiently
Road construction and maintenance activities
Supporting civil maintenance and project works across site
Completing pre-start inspections and equipment checks
Maintaining a robust commitment to site safety standards

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:




Demonstrated experience operating Graders and Loaders
Previous experience within civil construction and road maintenance
Robust safety focus and a positive team attitude
Ability to work autonomously and deliver quality outcomes
Full Australian working rights

Residential Requirement - Local Applicants Only

This is NOT a FIFO position.

Applicants must currently reside and have permanent accommodation in one of the following locations:
Wickham
Point Samson
Roebourne
