Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving a positive safety culture? We're looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Lead to take ownership of health, safety and wellbeing across a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with operational teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and continuously improve safety performance. You'll be a trusted advisor, leading safety initiatives, supporting leaders, and helping create a workplace where everyone goes home protected every day.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across the site
Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and incident investigations
Develop, review and maintain safety policies, procedures and work instructions
Drive continuous improvement through effective risk management systems
Provide coaching, guidance and support to leaders and employees on WHS best practices
Coordinate Return to Work programs and injury management
Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company standards
About You
Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within manufacturing, logistics or FMCG
Current Return to Work Coordinator qualification
Strong experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and audits
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, safety management systems and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Versatile to support operational requirements, including weekends and public holidays when required
