CSL Behring is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Maintenance Engineer to join our Broadmeadows manufacturing site. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager E&I;, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for delivering safe, reliable and compliant maintenance across critical pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This is an opportunity to work in a highly automated, technically diverse environment supporting the manufacture of life‑saving medicines.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of E&I; technicians to safely deliver planned, reactive and shutdown maintenance across the Broadmeadows manufacturing site.
Manage maintenance and GMP calibration activities to achieve safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.
Plan and prepare maintenance work, including job packs, isolations and P&ID;‑based work instructions.
Provide technical leadership through complex fault finding, problem solving and escalation support.
Coordinate daily work priorities and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Automation and Quality to deliver reliable plant performance.
Conduct RCAs and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability,
compliance and maintenance efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Degree in Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineering; trade qualifications are considered advantageous.
Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing or industrial workplace.
Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and process control systems, including calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity and analytical instrumentation.
Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities using SAP Plant Maintenance or a similar CMMS.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing setting (pharmaceuticals, FMCG, food & beverage, chemical, mining or oil & gas). Working knowledge of GMP and FDA requirements is advantageous.
