This is a fantastic prospect for Midwives who are passionate about providing exceptional care to women, babies and families while gaining valuable regional healthcare experience.
The Opportunity:
Location: Rockhampton, QLD
Position: Registered Midwife – Maternity Services
Contract Dates: August 2026 commencement through to November 2026
You will provide comprehensive maternity care across a range of services, including antenatal, postnatal and birth suite care within a supportive regional hospital workplace.
Essential Skills & Experience We are seeking Registered Midwives with:
Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA
Recent maternity experience
Birth Suite experience
Ante/Post Natal care experienceAdvanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification
Ability to provide safe and supportive care throughout the maternity journey

You will be a compassionate and experienced Midwife who can:
Deliver high quality maternity care
Work confidently within a multidisciplinary team
Support women and families through all stages of care
Adapt to a regional healthcare setting
