Overview

Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa , located in Port Douglas, offers a range of accommodations including studios, two and three-bedroom apartments, and a three-bedroom beach front private villa. Purpose

As a Kitchen Steward, you will help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including dishware, utensils, and workspaces. You will be an integral part of the kitchen brigade, collaborating with the team to support high-quality dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities
Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors
Disinfect and clean, ensuring proper chemical usage and safety




Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings

Qualifications & Experience
Practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with a positive and motivated demeanor
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team in a quick-paced setting
Flexible availability to accommodate shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
