Northern Star has a current and exciting chance for an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to carry out maintenance & repairs of all fixed plant equipment within the processing plant across our world class Jundee operations, located in the Goldfields. This position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off permanent roster, with FIFO ex Perth only.
Here’s what awaits you
Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting.
Assess the assigned job and obtain tools and equipment to complete the assigned work.
Service breakdowns including pumps and conveyors.
Processing and crusher part replacements and repairs.
Ensure quality of information in CMMS (Pronto) database by providing accurate history, job time, hours worked and feedback to Supervisors.
Participate in a call out roster as required.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need
Experience: Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment; crusher, mill & centrifugal pump rebuild experience & hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics (favourable).
Qualifications:
Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting and Machining; current Australian Drivers Licence; computer literacy - Microsoft Office & CMMS.
