Looking for a stable workshop role with consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position? 2XM Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in South of Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a modern fleet of trucks and trailers in a supportive workshop setting.

What’s on offer?
$45.00 per hour (casual)
Monday to Friday early morning or late morning start with consistent, full time hours
Opportunity to transition to a permanent position after 3 - 6 months
Stable, long-term role with a reputable transport business
Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime




Complete inspections and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to keep the fleet operating at its best

About You
Trade qualified Mechanic
Previous experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Valid driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
Full working rights in Australia
