Senior Recruitment Consultant at Core Talent

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a large High Rise Residential Developer Builder to oversee basement works on a major project in Southern Sydney. As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be the link between management and the crew, driving productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction crew.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Assist in scheduling tasks and managing work flow in office.
Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and teamwork.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to achieve project milestones.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.

Requirements




Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within high‑rise residential construction.
Ability to work under your own initiative.
Trade background and Cert 3 in carpentry desirable.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
