We are currently seeking a creative and passionate Textiles Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing textile prints across all product categories.

Salary 90k + super per annum

Responsibilities
Ability to interpret a design brief provided by internal stakeholders while adding their personal creativity
Undertake the appropriate product / textile research in order to produce the requirements of the design brief
Responsible for the creation of original textile prints
Set up artworks for factory hand over via sketches, smaples, plans and models
Liaise with design and production team on artwork, layout dimensions and colour selections




Manage workload of multiple tasks on a daily basis from two different teams
Internal brand and packaging development
Create repeat and placement prints
Print layering

Requirements
5+ years experience in textile development
Advanced skills working with Mac and the Adobe CS. Specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design
Confidence to work in a stand alone position whilst managing own workload and deadlines
Quick and productive worker
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Eye for detail and current trends
Excellent communication and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Experience within the apparel / fashion business
