Community Representative for Advisory Group on Robot-Assisted Surgery

This Community Representative role is for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Advisory Group on Robot-Assisted Surgery. The primary responsibilities of the Advisory Group members are to advise RACS on standards of surgical education and training, standards of surgical practice and advocacy issues relating to robot-assisted surgery.

The Advisory Group will be convened for twelve months, meeting bi-monthly and will provide a report to the Education Committee (EC) and the Professional Standards and Fellowship Services Committee (PSFSC).

Please note, this is a volunteer role.

Skills and experience
Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
Experience and/or expertise in medical education, training and assessment.
Experience and/or expertise in patient safety.
Relevant work with charities, not-for-profit organisations and community associations.
