About the Role
The JBS Pork Division is currently recruiting for a PLC/SCADA Technician to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. Reporting to the IT Operations Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective PLC / HMI software development and technical support.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain PLC / HMI coding.
Maintain current SCADA and other process control monitoring systems.
Analyse business and Operational Technology problems and advise on appropriate solutions and costings.
Define and maintain 'best practice' standards and processes.
Lead and coordinate the implementation of Operational Technology projects.
Maintain a proactive approach to monitoring systems and assets.
Coordinate external third parties for implementation projects.
Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions at all times.
Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Industrial Operational Technology.
Demonstrated SCADA, PLC, and HMI development skills.
Experience with Rockwell / Allen Bradley control systems.
Ignition and FactoryTalk experience desirable.
Ability to work within a team.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Preparedness to work flexible schedule and offsite.
