About the role
Terminal Operators at the Fisherman Islands grain terminal are critical to ensuring that we deliver an productive and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities. This includes wheat, sorghum, pulses, stockfeed and other products.

Rail and road receival
Shipping
Road outloading
Plant hygiene
Bunker storage operations
Grain assessing
Additional plant activities as required by training and experience
As a member of a multi‑skilled work workplace you will be expected to take on other activities within the plant in accordance with training and experience. We provide you with the tools and training required to perform your job effectively and safely. About your experience
Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills
Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
Willingness to undertake training to obtain fumigation licence and Department of Agriculture Approved Officer status
Excellent place to get started in the agricultural industry

Will receive licences and certificates such as forklift, front‑end loader, fumigation, confined spaces, and working at heights
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre‑employment medical.
