As an experienced Underground Drill Fitter with Westfill, you will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for:
Performing servicing, troubleshooting, and major repairs on underground drill rigs and associated equipment.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Provide technical support and mentoring to apprentices and tradespeople as required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts usage.
Work effectively in a team and contribute to a robust safety culture.

Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in underground drilling maintenance.
Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Sandvik (DD421, DL421, DL431, DD422i)
Technical Skills:



Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities.
Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving ability, teamwork, and adaptability to remote environments.
