About the Role

The Machinist is responsible for manufacturing components to specification using CNC milling and turning machines, while maintaining high-quality standards and complying with WHS requirements. The role contributes to effective and cost-effective workshop operations, and supports production by accurately following Engineering drawings, maintaining equipment and completing required documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling and turning machines
Prepare, cut and sort materials as required for production
Maintain machines, tools, and equipment during and after use to ensure secure and productive operation
Organise and prioritise work to meet production schedules, target hours and cost budgets
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality, in accordance with company procedures
Follow company quality and inspection procedures during the manufacturing process





What We're Looking For
Experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Excellent understanding of machining, manufacturing and workshop practices
Knowledge of WHS requirements in an industrial environment
Physically capable of performing workshop duties and manual handling
