About the Opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join our Environmental Services Department as a Patient Services Assistant. You will be an integral member of our team, providing patient‑centric cleaning duties, food & beverage services, transportation of patients, and patient support. Roles are casual and available Monday to Sunday across day, afternoon, and night shifts in a busy rapid‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
Provide patient‑centric cleaning duties, food and beverage services, transportation of patients and patient support.
Ensure Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards are met.
Work across all shift times — day, afternoon, night — in a busy, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications
Health Services Assistant Certificate III, or equivalent, or working towards completing.
Current Food Handling Certificate.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.




Ability to understand patients’ diet codes.
Enthusiastic, positive can‑do attitude.

Required Certifications and Checks
Evidence of current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
