Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Multiquip is a company that dedicates its services to the Poultry Industry in Australia. Our company is involved in the transportation of live birds from breeder farms to processing plants.

We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to work full-time to assist with our fleet of trucks and trailer repairs in our Beresfield depot.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Truck, trailer and machinery service and repairs
Scheduled maintenance
Ensure compliance with NHVAS and WHS regulations.
Carry out inspections for truck and trailer COI’s
Participate in after-hours breakdown assistance
Provide on-call field services when required (company vehicle provided).
General maintenance, housekeeping and yard work

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:
Work well within an established, hardworking team
Previous motor vehicle or truck or trailer fleet experience




Mechanical diagnostic skills required, electrical diagnostics desirable
Able to work Monday to Friday and be adaptable with overtime on weeknights or weekends as required
A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe
Certificates of HR Licence desirable
