We're Hiring for our client: Senior Network Engineer (Sydney, Australia)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading telecommunications environment, responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of carrier-grade IP networks supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile services.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize Core IP/MPLS networks across backbone, aggregation, and edge layers.
Deliver multi-vendor solutions leveraging Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper technologies.
Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, QoS, and IPv6.
Lead network design initiatives across 4G/5G mobile core, IP backbone, transmission,



and data center environments.
Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and network performance optimization.
Drive network automation and provisioning using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Cisco NSO.
Manage complex fault isolation and resolution across multi-domain network environments.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support for project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Telecommunications, ISP, or Carrier-grade Networking.
Solid hands‑on expertise with Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper platforms.
Deep understanding of Core IP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, High Availability, and IPv6.
Experience supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile networks.
Strong troubleshooting, design, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NRS/NRP, JNCIP/JNCIE are desirable.
