The Australian Government is seeking expressions of interest for appointment as the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (INSLM). The INSLM independently reviews the operation, effectiveness and implications of Australia’s national security and counter‑terrorism laws, considering rights protections, proportionality and necessity.
Appointments are for up to 3 years with possible reappointment, and the position can be full‑time or part‑time.
