Lawyer / Senior Associate – Employment Relations & Safety

Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit a Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment Relations & Safety team in Brisbane or Sydney.

This is an excellent prospect to join one of Australia's leading workplace relations practices, advising a diverse client base of private sector organisations and government clients on complex employment, industrial relations and workplace health and safety matters.

The Role

Working within a cooperative and growing team, you will advise on a broad range of matters, including:
Employment law and workplace relations advice
Industrial relations and enterprise bargaining
Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
Discrimination, underpayment and employment disputes
Workplace health and safety incidents, regulator investigations and prosecutions




Organisational change and major corporate transactions with employment law aspects

This role offers early client exposure, diverse and challenging work, and the opportunity to work across multiple industries alongside experienced practitioners.

About You

You will have:
3+ years' post-admission experience in employment, industrial relations or workplace health and safety law
Strong technical, drafting and communication skills
Commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
Excellent time and matter management skills
A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in developing client relationships
