Over 75 Villages Australia wide Career prospects Great team environment Lendlease is currently looking for a motivated and experienced Gardener to join our team at the Buderim Gardens Village. Your role will be working on a Full-Time basis (Monday – Friday). The Gardener will be required to deliver general lawn, garden and property maintenance in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan. Working under the guidance of the Village Manager, you will execute all gardening activities in accordance with the existing frameworks and budget – ensuring that all work is carried out following the correct procedures. As you will be working alongside our many residents, a customer-service focus is essential, along with a genuine interest in assisting the elderly.

Responsibilities

Deliver general lawn, garden and property maintenance in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan and execute all gardening activities in accordance with existing frameworks and budget, ensuring correct procedures are followed.

Qualifications
Demonstrated competence as a Gardener – weeding, pruning, planting & mowing




Experience in general gardening maintenance works
Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
High organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently
Solid customer service and team focus
Basic computer literacy
Knowledge of Setting, Health and Safety legislation

Additional Requirements

Successful applicant must complete a Police Check, receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April‑October, provide proof of the COVID‑19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining and may be required to undergo pre‑employment medical assessments for selected physically demanding roles.
