Its menu celebrates fresh, seasonal coastal produce, while the adjoining Surf Suite offers a versatile event space with panoramic views across the water.
Responsibilities
Kitchen Leadership – Lead the operations of the kitchen, inspire and develop a high-performing culinary team.
Menu Development – Showcase premium local produce with creativity and flair.
Commercial Performance – Manage labour, food costs and kitchen budgets while driving profitability through smart purchasing, stock control and waste management.
Operations & Compliance – Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and safely every day.
Events & Functions – Lead the culinary execution of private events, corporate functions and venue activations.
Salary
Circa $100k, depending on experience, plus monthly KPI bonuses.
About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a premium, high-volume venue.
Robust leadership skills with a passion for developing people.
Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen financials.
Creativity balanced with consistency and operational excellence.
