Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a contract that offers genuine flexibility?
Walgett Shire Council needs support for three days per fortnight on site, with accommodation provided and fuel costs reimbursed. The initial contract is for three to six months, commencing immediately, at $100 per hour plus super.
The role involves assessing development and construction applications, conducting statutory inspections and certification activities, and providing practical technical advice. Responsibilities also include investigating unauthorised building work and supporting Council’s compliance requirements.
Applicants will need a Diploma in Building Surveying or equivalent, relevant experience and accreditation as an A2 Building and Development Certifier.
