Astek Australia is looking for Project Manager to be based Melbourne, Australia to support our client project.

Job Description:
Lead and manage end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities for government/social sector projects.
Develop project implementation plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation plans, and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
Coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, project teams, and implementation partners for effective project execution and monitoring.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for data & analytics projects
Oversee data collection, analysis, and visualization to support decision-making
Lead preparation and review of project reports, presentations, status updates, and documentation for senior management and departmental reviews.




Identify project risks, challenges, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and ensure smooth project implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Government Projects, PMU Operations.
Relevant certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent) and experience in managing large-scale project within a trading setting, preferably in banking, or utilities sectors.
Driven and able to complete work autonomously and lead teams under pressure.
Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and JAMA
