Hourly rate starting at $28.50 + Remote Area Allowance + Superannuation

As a Yard Handy Person you will have to love working outdoors and provide our services for private homes and businesses in and around Kununurra. It is essential that you are caring and a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients’ homes. Your ability to work autonomously and to manage your own time is required.

Key responsibilities of this role
Maintain client properties to a high standard as directed in the Kununurra townsite (and surrounds, where required)
Duties may include inspecting, mowing, pruning, hedging and edging, fertilising, controlling weeds, pests and diseases, maintaining or repairing irrigation or reticulation systems to maintain garden beds, lawns and verges.
Remove all green waste to ensure a neat and tidy appearance, is maintained and dispose at local landfill facility.
Obtain quotes where directed by Owner
Operate plant and equipment safely, efficiently, and as directed.




Reticulation installs and repairs including replacement of taps, pipes, solenoids and sprinklers
Cultivating gardens and garden beds as well as other minor landscaping works
Perform required minor landscaping work such as installing/replacing rocks or mulch and re-planting
Install other garden infrastructure as required

To be successful in this role you must have experience working physically outdoors, be bale to perform duties efficiently, responsibly as directed and in a secure and healthy manner. You must have great attention to detail, show initiative and have the ability to work in a rapid paste work workplace. Punctuality, trustworthiness, reliability are essential. Most importantly you must contribute positively to the team and support the team’s efforts.
