In this position, you will drive our industrial relations strategy and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across multiple states. You'll manage disputes, lead enterprise bargaining negotiations, and act as the key liaison with unions and industry bodies.
Your role will ensure compliance, foster a fair and inclusive workplace, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise agreement negotiations and oversee industrial instruments.
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
Serve as the primary contact for unions and industry representatives.
Partner with People & Culture to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Coach and support senior leaders and the People & Culture team.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industrial agreements.
Prepare reports and contribute to strategic workforce planning.
Support QHSE initiatives and employment documentation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in employee and industrial relations management.
Proven leadership and ability to deliver strategic outcomes.
Robust knowledge of Australian/NZ employment law and IR frameworks.
Experience in union negotiations and enterprise agreements preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and Share Point.
