Job Description

In this site‐based role you are responsible for delivery, programme, cost, safety, quality and performance. You lead Engineers, Supervisors and site teams, make decisions, and keep the job on track. You remain aware of risks and opportunities but do not become buried in detail.

You manage client expectations and build relationships under pressure. The workplace is challenging, and you will resolve issues rather than escalade everything to keep the job moving.
Take full responsibility for delivery, programme, cost, safety, quality and performance.
Lead Engineers, Supervisors and site teams, ensuring proper planning and execution.
Maintain high‐level oversight of risks, slippoints and improvements.
Directly manage clients, expectations and relationships under pressure.

About the Candidate
Graduated from a Civil Engineering degree.




Strong site‐based experience delivering civil projects.
History of leading Engineers, Supervisors and project teams.
Ability to manage programme, cost and delivery while keeping control of detail.
Comfortable dealing with clients and sustaining relationships under pressure.
Robust understanding of contracts, variations and commercial risk.
Willingness to be site‐based and relocate (QLD / NSW).
Proactive ownership mindset.

Nice to Have
Experience delivering TMR or similar civil infrastructure projects.
Background across roads, earthworks, structures or utilities.
Experience managing multiple work fronts or complex project environments.
Solid commercial awareness and ability to drive project margin.
Willingness to mentor and develop Engineers.
Exposure to planning tools and earned value / cost tracking systems.
