We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Storeperson / Logistics Officer to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the effective movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Manage the receipt, storage, handling, and movement of inventory and non-inventory items throughout the facility.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently.
Promote and maintain a safe, compliant, and productive warehouse setting.
Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately record deliveries, ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed of stock arrivals.
Operate ERP and logistics management systems to process receipting, inventory movements, and shipments.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and freight providers.
Support additional warehouse and logistics activities as required by management.
Your Profile
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment.
A current Forklift Licence (LF)
Sound understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and best practice material handling procedures.
Knowledge of transport, freight, import, and export requirements.
Experience using ERP and warehouse management systems (preferably SAP).
