Associate - Insurance lawyer

Our client is one of Australia's largest and vastly growing law firm with a leading reputation. Their Sydney office is now looking for a Associate / Senior Associate level lawyer to work in their Insurance team.

About the role

We are actively seeking an Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in Insurance law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with clients, managing relationships and delivering tailored legal advice
Receive guidance and mentorship from leading experts in the insurance law field
Develop expertise in insurance advisory work, including regulatory and compliance matters
Provide support on complex coverage analysis,



including liability assessments and issues relating to non-disclosure or misrepresentation
Assist insurers with the resolution of claims disputes, investigations, and complaints

About you

You will have 4+ years PAE with experience in insurance law with a ‘can do’ approach and a team player attitude.

Additionally, you will have:
Solid analytical skills to interpret expert reports, contracts, legislation, and regulatory materials
Ability to draft clear, concise written communications and explain complex legal concepts in plain, accessible language
Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and other stakeholders
Genuine interest in building a career and expanding qualified networks within the general insurance sector
