An established commercial head contractor is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to deliver a current $6M, two-storey government services facility located on the NSW Far North Coast.

This is a genuine start-to-finish opportunity, suited to a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, driving subcontractors, and maintaining solid site safety, quality and programme outcomes.

The Role
No.1 Site Manager reporting directly to the Project Manager
Deliver a new greenfield commercial project from site establishment through to handover
10-month contract with a mid-August commencement
Coordinate all site activities, subcontractors and day-to-day programme delivery
Drive quality, safety and productivity across all stages of construction

Requirements
Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on commercial or government projects valued at $5M+
Strong new build experience from early works through to practical completion
Confident managing two-week look-ahead programmes and daily site coordination




Proficient using construction management software including Procore, Breadcrumb or similar project management platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commitment to WHS, quality and programme delivery

Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day site operations and subcontractor performance
Coordinate trades in accordance with programme milestones
Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
Monitor safety, quality and compliance across the project
Maintain accurate site records, reporting and project documentation
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery
