Located within the highly prospective Tennant Creek Mineral Field, this chance sits with one of Australia's growing gold producers, focused on developing and operating high-quality gold assets in the Northern Territory.
With a fully funded development plan and significant exploration upside, this role offers broad exposure across strategic, tactical and short-term mine planning, while providing the opportunity to influence operational performance, optimisation initiatives and future growth alongside site leadership.
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining life-of-mine, budget, medium and short-term mine plans that support secure, efficient and sustainable production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Mine planning, design and scheduling
Production forecasting, budgeting and reporting
Monitoring plan compliance and production performance
Equipment productivity analysis and optimisation initiatives
Technical support to operations, contractors and stakeholders
Leadingand mentoringMining Engineers
Supporting the safe execution of mining activities in line with site objectives.

About you:
Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or equivalent
8+ years' open pit mining engineering experience
Strong experience in mine planning, scheduling, forecasting and operational improvement
Experience with budgeting, reporting and contractor management
Advanced proficiency in Deswik
Robust analytical, planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
