As a Boilermaker (Bin Shop) at Wilmar Sugar and Renewables, you'll be responsible for fabricating rolling stock equipment including maintenance and repairs on cane bins and locomotives.

This permanent position is based at Plane Creek Mill located in North Queensland. Sarina offers a laid-back lifestyle, with stunning beaches and exciting outdoor adventures right at your doorstep. This position follows a year-round day work roster pattern (with RDOs most Fridays) and may require some weekend work and overtime.

Your Role in Action
Provide timely, secure, and productive maintenance services, tackling both planned and unplanned jobs, and ensuring high standards are met.
Help assess the lifespan and performance of our assets.
Ensure work orders, permits, timesheets, and reports are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems, and implementing improvements to ensure the highest quality standards.

Your Winning Combination





The successful applicant must have completed a Certificate III Qualification in Fabrication and hold a current C Class Drivers Licence. Bonus points for applicants who have a Forklift, Overhead Crane, Rigger, Dogger and/or EWP High Risk Work licences.
