The Powerhouse Museum is undergoing a major transformation in its history. In this role, you will help shape the future of the Powerhouse Collection, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for contemporary audiences, industry and researchers.
Responsibilities
Identify and acquire objects and digital material that reflect the creativity, innovation and cultural significance of applied arts.
Collaborate across curatorial, collections, exhibitions, research and public programmes to deliver a strategic collection that reflects the breadth of design, technology and creative practice.
Play a leading role in shaping the future of the collection, influencing its growth, evolution and connection with audiences and stakeholders.
Remuneration
Min. $101,904 – Max.
$121,845 per annum. Total remuneration package includes base salary, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Work Hours & Type
35 hours per week. Temporary – Regular (Fixed Term) for up to 4 years, based at Powerhouse Castle Hill.
