Are you looking for a Consultant Prospect with a Gold Coast location, with teaching and research responsibilities and a team that is truly agile in it's leadership and clinical approach?

You will provide both inpatient and community based services and have extensive teaching and research responsibilities.

This is a 750 bed teaching hospital located in a metropolitan, coastal location of Queensland serving a population of 600,000 people. The Mental Health Service consists of inpatient, outpatient, and community teams. There are 130 inpatient beds in total: a 50 bed psychiatric unit with an ICU sub-unit, a 10 bed acute young adult unit, an 8 bed child and youth unit, a 16 bed aged care unit,



a 59 bed extended care, rehabilitation and psycho geriatric unit. Some of the services include adult and child consultation/liaison services, an emergency psychiatric service, 2 adult and 2 child and adolescent community clinics, and a mobile intensive therapy team. This mental health service is very supportive of the training requirements of overseas trained doctors.
