The Role

We’re currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at our Naval Base workshop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment




Conduct on-hire and off-hire inspections of mobile plant and equipment
Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
Create parts lists using technical manuals
Perform risk assessments and implement safety controls
Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures
Keep work areas clean and well‑organised

What We’re Looking For
Australian Trade Qualification – HD/Plant Mechanic
Proven experience with Caterpillar mobile plant maintenance
Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS systems
Solid problem‑solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
High Risk Work Licenses (LF, WP, CN, DG) – highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
