Role Description
This full-time Senior Energy & Power Advisors- Data Centres role is based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some work from home.
The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and overseeing power and mechanical engineering aspects of data centre and related infrastructure projects, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting feasibility studies, performing technical assessments, reviewing engineering designs, and preparing documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
The position also involves coordinating project schedules, managing risks and issues, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and contributing to the optimisation of manufacturing and mechanical systems within data centre environments.




The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to a high technical standard.
Qualifications
Solid Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Robust Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, assess engineering options, and support sound decision-making for complex infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and coordination of project deliverables in a data centre or infrastructure context.
Foundational knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering, with an understanding of production processes, quality standards, and system optimisation relevant to data centre systems.
Mechanical Engineering skills, including familiarity with HVAC, power distribution, cooling systems, and mechanical services for data centres or similar facilities.
Relevant australian tertiary qualification in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working on infrastructure, transport, or government projects is highly regarded.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage priorities independently, and adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
