Wanted: OSHC Centre Manager (AKA The Organised Legend We're Looking For!)
Do you believe that every afternoon should include laughter, learning, organised chaos (the good kind), and the occasional glitter explosion?
Can you juggle rosters, inspire educators, build great relationships with families, and still remember where you put the scissors?
If you're nodding along, we think we should be friends.
We're looking for someone who:
Loves creating fun, engaging experiences for school-aged children.
Leads with positivity, kindness, and a great sense of humour.
Knows how to build and motivate an amazing team.
Can keep an OSHC service running smoothly while making it look effortless (we know it's not!).
Enjoys connecting with children, families, schools, and the wider community.
Is organised enough to manage compliance, administration, and rosters without breaking a sweat (or at least not admitting to it).
You'll be:
Leading a fantastic team of educators.
Creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment where children thrive.
Building strong relationships with families and school staff.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the service.
Supporting your team to grow, learn, and love what they do.
What's in it for you?
Above award wages.
Supportive leadership that values your ideas.
Opportunities for career development and career growth.
A workplace where fun and professionalism go hand in hand.
Every day is different—and never boring!
You'll bring:
Experience in OSHC, childcare, education, or a similar leadership role.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place (or the willingness to keep learning).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A current Working With Children Check and relevant qualifications (or the ability to obtain them).
Sound like your kind of adventure?
If you're looking for more than "just another job" and want to lead a service where children, families, and educators genuinely enjoy being together, we'd love to hear from you.
Your application will include the following questions:
Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
Do you have experience working with children?
Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework?
Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
