About the Roles
WHS Advisor– Multi-site role supporting a variety of civil infrastructure projects across the business.
This position includes a fully maintained company vehicle.
WHS Coordinator– Dedicated WHS resource on their flagship project, providing ongoing site-based WHS support with opportunities for future progression as the business continues to grow.
Both positions are highly operational and suited to individuals who enjoy being on site, building relationships with supervisors and crews, and driving positive safety outcomes through visible leadership rather than being office based.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and workplace observations
Support supervisors and project teams with day-to-day WHS advice
Review SWMS, permits and other safety documentation
Assist with toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives
Identify hazards and work with operational teams to implement practical risk controls
Participate in incident investigations and corrective action management
Maintain safety records, inspections and compliance documentation
Promote a positive safety culture through regular engagement with employees and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, client requirements and company management systems
Skills & Experience
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
Previous experience within civil construction, earthworks, quarrying, mining or heavy infrastructure environments
Solid understanding of high-risk construction activities and associated controls
Practical approach to safety with the ability to build credibility on site
Confident communicator who can influence operational teams at all levels
White Card and current driver's licence
First Aid qualification highly regarded
